Combinational therapy of regulatory T cell depletion and vaccination with functionalized CaP nanoparticles strongly enhances retroviral clearance. Chronically FV-infected DEREG mice were vaccinated as described in Fig. 2. 7 d.p.v., mice were sacrificed, and infectious centers in the spleen were determined. Results of four independent experiments were combined. Bars represent mean ± SEM. One-way ANOVA followed by Bonferoni’s multiple comparison test was performed to analyze statistics of multiple group sets. *p < 0.05
